Atlas billing lives in workspace settings under the Billing tab. From there you can view your current plan, change how many Editor / Viewer / Field worker seats you pay for, see usage, and update your payment method.
Open billing
Open workspace settings (the gear icon in the workspace sidebar). In the side menu, click Billing. Owners and admins see the full billing UI; regular members and guests see a read-only summary or no billing tab at all.
What you'll find
- Current plan — Free, Pro, Team, or Enterprise depending on your tier.
- Seat counts and usage — purchased vs. used, broken down by seat type:
- Editors — full edit access.
- Viewers — read-only access. Plan-gated.
- Field workers — Field App users.
- Renewal date — next billing cycle.
- Payment method — managed via the Stripe customer portal.
- Plan features — which capabilities are included on your plan (custom branding, custom exports, per-interface public access, viewers, etc.).
Change your plan
Click Upgrade (or Change plan) to move between Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise. Higher tiers unlock more seats and more advanced features (custom branding, per-interface public access, custom exports). Some features show a paywall lock icon when you try to use them on a lower plan — clicking the lock takes you to the same upgrade flow.
Add or remove seats
Change the per-type seat count on the same page. Adding seats takes effect immediately; removing seats takes effect at the next renewal so you don't lose paid time.
If you try to invite a member when all seats of that type are used, the invite is blocked until you free a seat or buy more.
Usage tracking
The Usage tab (next to Billing in the side menu) shows historical usage charts — useful for justifying a plan change or watching for unexpected spikes. Usage is reported per seat type and per major feature.
Limits and notes
- Billing is workspace-scoped. Each workspace has its own plan and payment method.
- Changing payment details routes through Stripe's hosted customer portal.
- Plan features that are off on your current plan show clear "Upgrade" CTAs throughout the product.
- Field worker billing may not be visible if your account doesn't have field worker pricing configured yet.
