The Tiny Italy DEM integration imports a high-resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM) covering Italy. Use the imported raster as input for terrain analysis tools — slope, aspect, hillshade, contours — or as the source for Atlas's Elevation Profile tool.
Open the integration
In a project, open the right-hand panel, switch to the Integrations tab, and pick Tiny Italy DEM.
Import elevation data
Provide an area of interest in the integration panel and run the request. Atlas extracts the DEM cells covering that area and adds them as a new raster dataset in your project.
What you can do with it
Once imported, the DEM is a regular raster dataset — use it in:
- Slope analysis and aspect analysis.
- Hillshade, contour lines, and terrain analysis workflow nodes.
- The Elevation Profile tool — pick the imported dataset as the data source.
- 3D mode — set as terrain source.
Limits and notes
- Coverage is Italy only.
- Importing a very large area produces a large raster file; you may want to extract by region.
- Resolution and update cadence depend on the upstream DEM provider.
